Do this: Keep an eye out for a patch from Microsoft, expected November 10, 2020.
Why: Google Project 0 has disclosed a Windows privilege escalation vulnerability to Microsoft that is actively being exploited in the wild. They are rushing a patch. CVE-2020-17087

Using Google Drive to Collaborate on Shared Files?
Do this: Beware that scammers are now using it send malicious files and credentials harvesting attacks.
Why: Attackers have figured out that by using the collaboration features of Google (via Drive) they can use Google to do the heavy lifting and bypass content filtering and increase credibility. Keep an eye out for notifications with titles such as: "Personal Notification No 8482."

Using an Android Device?
Do this: Check the below list of Apps and purge any that you find on your device.
Why: These apps have been found to contain malware, adware, or other trojan horses and have been removed from the Google Play Store. The apps still need to be deleted locally on your device though.
